THE PROBLEM
Violence within our schools, workplace and houses of worship continues to increase at alarming levels.
Since 2013, there have been at least 164 school shootings in America — an average of nearly one a week.*
Many of our schools and organizations struggle with funding, implementation and management of safety and security solutions that can save lives.
OUR MISSION
SMC Safety Foundation's mission is to protect our nation’s most valuable resource: our people. We do this by connecting entire communities and collaborating on issues to achieve the common goal of creating safe environments.
